We Are Recruiting Casual Examination Staff to Support with the Delivery of In-Person Examinations at the University.
About Examinations at Cambridge
The University of Cambridge conducts examinations year-round from September, with the majority running during the main-exam period from mid-April to mid-June following Easter. We deliver both written and digital in-person examinations, and also accommodate students with Reasonable Adjustments, such as additional writing time and/or rest breaks. Exams are held at various locations across the University, primarily in central Cambridge, the Sidgwick Site, and the West Cambridge Site.
In the 2023-2024 academic year we administered 2,504 exam papers and 68,024 candidatures.
Casual staff play a vital role in ensuring the seamless delivery of our examinations. We therefore welcome applications from individuals who excel in communication, have strong interpersonal skills, are detail-oriented, remain calm under pressure, and thrive in team settings.
